Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Welcome to Loomin, a writing platform built by Groupbox Ltd. By using our platform, you're agreeing to these terms. We tried to keep them clear and straightforward, but if anything's unclear, we're happy to explain.

Using Loomin

Loomin is designed to help you write, collaborate, and preserve your work. You can use it for personal projects, professional documents, or team collaboration. As long as you're using it lawfully and not trying to break anything, you're good to go.

When you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login information secure. If you think someone's gotten into your account without permission, let us know immediately.

Your Content, Your Ownership

Here's the important part: you own everything you create in Loomin. Your documents, your snapshots, your ideas are yours. We're just providing the space and the tools to help you store and work on them.

By using Loomin, you give us permission to store your content on our servers so we can provide the service you signed up for. That's it. We don't claim ownership of anything you write, and we won't use your content for anything other than providing Loomin to you.

What We Expect From You

We want Loomin to be a useful, pleasant place for everyone. We ask that you:

  • Don't use Loomin to store or share anything illegal or harmful
  • Don't try to hack, reverse engineer, or otherwise break our systems
  • Don't spam other users or abuse the collaboration features
  • Don't share content that violates someone else's rights

If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account. We'll only do this if absolutely necessary.

Our Service and Availability

We work hard to keep Loomin running smoothly, but sometimes things go wrong. We don't guarantee that the service will be perfect or available 100% of the time. We'll give you reasonable notice if we need to do maintenance that might cause downtime.

Loomin is provided "as is." While we're proud of our platform and stand behind its quality, we can't make promises about it being completely error-free.

Payment and Billing

Some of our plans are free, and others are paid. If you sign up for a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees on time. We'll bill you automatically unless you've set up manual payments.

You can cancel your paid plan at any time. If you cancel, you'll keep access to paid features until the end of your billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Intellectual Property

Loomin itself is all the software, design, and content on our website, owned by Groupbox Ltd. You're welcome to use our service, but you can't copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary stuff without our permission.

Limiting Our Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Groupbox Ltd won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of Loomin. This includes things like lost profits, lost data, or costs from using alternative services.

Our total liability won't exceed the amount you paid us (if anything) in the 12 months before the issue arose.

Resolving Disputes

If there's ever a dispute between us, we'd first like to work it out directly and friendly-like. If that doesn't work, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings will take place in London.

Changes to These Terms

We may occasionally update these terms to reflect changes in our service or for legal reasons. If we make changes, we'll post the updated version here and update the date at the top. Your continued use of Loomin means you accept the new terms.
